Random question: has anyone ever sneezed while playing their instrument?? I’ve literally been playing the saxophone for like 9 years and that has never happened to me

uhh yes hello friend i too am an alto saxophone player. don’t sneeze. it’ll make THE WORST HONK SOUND. sounds like all the geese in the world working together as a choir. everyone in the room (around 100 people at that time) turned and looked at me. don’t. sneeze.

Never sneezed. Have coughed. It made a weird squeak. Also, laughing and playing is insanely difficult

my favorite thing to do: make faces at my friends during rehearsal so they laugh and miss their entrances

my band director’s favorite thing to do: say something that isn’t that funny, so nobody laughs, but for some reason the entire flute section thinks it’s funny and we all laugh and miss our entrances

I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to pin down a song that encapsulates my very essence, but if i had to pick one song that gives a general vibe I’d probably say Animal Spirits by Vulfpeck. Because its so carefree and nonsensical, and with a killer groove which I’m all about!
